The Story of Rebin Rashid

Rebin Rashid has been working in photography and filmmaking for over 20 years, earning a respected place in the industry. He's not just behind the camera— he's also the producer and presenter of his own projects. Out of the 16 documentaries he's made, 13 were for Rudaw, a popular TV channel affiliated with Enex News. Thanks to this partnership, his work has reached audiences across 57 TV channels worldwide.

Rebin's passion for adventure has taken him to 46 countries and 30 U.S. states, where he captures the beauty of the natural world in stunning detail. He’s climbed more than 50 mountain peaks and is a licensed drone operator, using breathtaking aerial footage to enhance his storytelling. His travels and love for the outdoors are the inspiration behind his work, resulting in captivating narratives that connect with viewers.

Before Rebin dedicated himself full-time to photography and filmmaking, he worked in the automotive industry for 17 years. Eleven of those years were spent at BMW in Oslo, Norway, where he worked as a mechanic and technician. He later became a technical manager at another workshop for two years. Despite his success in the automotive field, he ultimately chose to pursue his passion for visual storytelling, a bold move that led to new opportunities and creative freedom.
